As many of us know through personal experience, practicing the martial arts offers an array of benefits to our physical and mental health. We gain strength, balance, and confidence. We improve our cardiovascular health. Our practice of patterned techniques and forms improves our memory and our mind-body connection. Our practice is individual, as we each travel our own path toward goals and improvement. Our practice is also shared as part of a vibrant community, giving us friendships and connection to one another. When we are stressed, our martial arts practice can be an antidote that offers both physical and mental relief. As students have commented over and over again, "I can walk into class stressed, but it all melts away when I step on the dojo floor."
We are exceptionally grateful for our community, and we've got lots of great events and shared experiences coming up over the next few months.
